Announcing AMP’s new series: “Theatre Under the Stars!”

To all our amazing AMP supporters,

Announcing AMP’s new series: “Theatre Under the Stars!”

Come enjoy live community theatre again — safely.  For the time being, all performances will be held outside.  We are fortunate in that we have a tree-lined field which will serve as our location for our “Theatre Under the Stars.”

How it Works

  1. Choose a night to attend a show (see a list of performance dates below).
  2. Pay cash or check when you arrive (pay what you can).
  3. Have your own folding chairs or blankets.
  4. Sit in one of the clearly marked 8-foot squares we’ve created on the AMP lawn. This will ensure safe social distancing.
  5. Enjoy the show!

Everyone, thank you for your support, donations, volunteer hours, kind messages and applause as we navigated COVID-19.

Seven years ago today, we closed on our building at 1955 Island Walkway and gathered with as many theatre friends we could reach to toast to our new endeavor.  In the years since we have gathered hundreds of members, musicians, actors, and crew – now dubbed “fAMPily” – and produced over 100 plays, revues, musicals, and more. Since we closed in mid-March we have postponed our shows.

We hope this new Theatre Under the Stars program gives you peace of mind and ample safety measures as we enjoy live theatre – together again!
