Auditions for Bits of the Bard at Amelia Musical Playhouse on March 25th, 2017 at 10 am.

Performances dates: May 26 & 27, 2017 at 7:30pm

Bits of the Bard is a collection of pieces written, or inspired, by the great William Shakespeare. Actors of all ages and experience levels will be performing one or more sonnets, monologues or scenes from Shakespearean comedies and tragedies. In addition, there will be some bits that take light hearted fun at Shakespeare’s expense. Directed by Jan Cote-Merow, Assistant Director: Rosalyn Tyler, Creative Director: Alison Stewart, Producer: Lois Stewart.

Actors of all ages, including students, are encouraged to attend. Actors may bring their favorite sonnet, scene or monologue to read, if they wish. If not, readings will be provided for the audition.

Rehearsals will be flexible and actors may perform by reading their selection.

Please email for further information or to schedule a private audition if there is a conflict.
